Global Institute of Mathematics offers four highly interactive online math courses:
Algebra, Advanced Algebra, Pre-Calculus and Calculus. The school year is
divided into three trimesters. While each trimester builds on the previous one, it is
important to note that students can take any course at any time as a stand alone
course. Math courses offered are as follows:
Fall Trimester Online Math Courses (late September through mid December)
Algebra I Advanced Algebra I
Pre-Calculus I Calculus I
Winter Trimester Online Math Courses (early January through late March)
Algebra II Advanced Algebra II
Pre-Calculus II Calculus II
Spring Trimester Online Math Courses (early April through mid June)
Algebra III Advanced Algebra III
Pre-Calculus III Calculus III
Each trimester is ten weeks in length. Classes meet three times per week for 45
minutes each. Additionally, students may view each lesson from our archives, at
their convenience, as a means of extended study. For exact dates and times see
our calendar. Click on each class to see a detailed course syllabus.
All classes are taught at a high level. Special emphasis is placed on
mathematical theory, problem solving techniques, graphical analysis, algebraic
skills and proper use of technical English.
Homework sets, projects and solutions are provided for students to assess their
own work and progress. Of course, students may consult the instructor at any time
via email.
